Privacy policy
Almonqeth ("we") keeps your important documents and reminds you before they expire. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the website at almonqeth.com and to the Almonqeth apps for iPhone and Android.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), preferred language and time zone. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from them.
- What you add to your vault: document names, expiry dates, notes, reminder settings, folders, events, and the photos or PDF files you upload.
- Sharing: the people you choose to share with, and what you share with them.
- Devices: a notification token for each device where you turn on reminders.
- Payments: if you subscribe, your plan and its status. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and in-app purchases by Apple or Google; we never see or store your card number.
- Technical data: your IP address and basic request information, used to keep the service secure and to prevent abuse.
How we use it
- To run your vault: store your documents and show them to you and to the people you share with.
- To send the reminders you set, by email and push notification.
- To manage your subscription and the features it includes.
- To protect accounts and the service, for example by limiting repeated sign-in attempts.
We do not sell your data, show you advertising based on it, or use your documents for any other purpose. Our staff cannot open the documents in your vault.
Who processes it for us
We use trusted providers to run the service: Vercel (hosting and file storage), Neon (database), our email delivery provider, Stripe (card payments), and Apple and Google (sign-in, in-app purchases and push notifications). They process data only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account at any time from the app (Settings → Edit account → Delete account) or at almonqeth.com/delete-account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your documents, files, reminders and sharing are erased. We keep only an anonymous record that an account was deleted, and payment records that our payment providers are legally required to hold.
Security
All connections are encrypted. Uploaded files are stored privately and served only to you and the people you share them with.
Children
Almonqeth is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your choices
You can see and correct your name, email address and language from your account page, and delete your account at any time. For any other request about your data, contact us.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page, and tell you in the app or by email if the change is significant.
